R&D ion beam facilities

Helium-S: Revolutionizing precision in inter-atomic displacement Developed by Spin Ion and currently marketed by Quantum Design, Helium-S stands at the forefront of technological innovation. This state-of-the-art system utilizes an ultra-compact and ultra-fast He+ ion beam facility to enable precise manipulation of magnetic properties. With unparalleled control over inter-atomic displacements, Helium-S empowers advancements in magnetic anisotropy, magnetization, Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction, and damping.

Reference samples

To capitalize on those advantages, we also produce state-of-the-art magnetic samples to address the various needs of cutting-edge measurement techniques. To be fully efficient, recent tools need precise calibration with as fewer variations as possible. In order to fill the gap, by developing a unique lithography process, combined with ion irradiation, we provide samples for local characterization tools such as MOKE, AFM and CIPT. Depending on the needs, we can either grow the optimal samples with our providers or adapt our process to the materials chosen by our clients.
