Spin-Ion Technologies is a spin-off company that originated from Paris-Saclay University and the French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS). Our establishment dates back to 2017, and since then, we have made significant strides in the field of deep technology. In 2019, we were recognized as one of the top 10 most promising deep-tech startups in France and were honored with the “Grand Prix i-Lab” award by the French government.
Our company is based within the Center for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (C2N) in Palaiseau, France. Here, we are fortunate to have access to a cutting-edge research facility, which includes the largest academic clean room in Europe. Our strategic location places us at the heart of the Paris-Saclay University campus, a renowned hub for education, research, and innovation recognized globally.
Spin-Ion specializes in providing a comprehensive range of ion solutions. These solutions are designed to precisely tailor the structural and magnetic properties of materials and devices used in the field of spintronics. Our mission is to enhance the performance of these materials and devices, thereby paving the way for next-generation applications. These applications include MRAMs magnetic sensors, and artificial intelligence devices.
Moreover, in 2022, Spin-Ion Technologies secured a significant achievement. We received funding from the European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA) under the “Green digital devices for the future” challenge. This funding injection, spanning 30 months, fortifies our commitment to innovation.
